You can use The Granary as a base to visit further afield places such as Leeds, Sissinghurst and Hever Castles, or maybe a day trip to London by train from Staplehurst station. Visit Canterbury, Rochester or even go to France for the day via the ferry from Dover, or through the tunnel.

We are based virtually in the center of the "Garden of England", so bring your hiking boots and explore the many local footpaths, or set up your easel and paint one of the fine views of the area. Also for those of you who wish to search a little further, bring along your bicycle for excellent day rides.
